More than a painter of scenes, Michel Temim is a painter of moment.
Seize the moment which everybody sees without paying it attention,
allows him to establish so the postulate of departure. However, it is
not so much to retranscribe the everyday life which interests the
artist, but rather to seize the parallel which exists between modest
and powerful people. Demonstrate the funny complexity of the human
being. The artist looks for in common situations soft and universal
cruelty of the individual.
However Michel Temim is only beginning a scenario that the spectator
will have the leisure to develop as one pleases. Another exercise
consists in hijacking the first idea of a novel, a fable either an
urban legend and to reposition it with some diverted interpretation so
disturbing the collective unconscious.
It is necessary to evoke at the moment the technique used(employed)
and put in the service of its creations. It is the expression of a
representation pure and voluntarily moved by too much precision.
